I've been buying these treats for the past decade, in store and over Amazon. I've given it to all the cats I've ever had, they've all loved it, but my main cat, she's 12 years old in a couple days and my goodness, she's been eating them since she was about 4 months old and she still eats them till this day. I have to hide these from her, otherwise she will get her paws on it. If she knows where they are at, she WILL get to it, one way or another. She begs for them several times a day. These will get her out of her hiding spots as well, if she hears either the bag or the container shake (whichever one I buy at the time). If I run out, I'll just shake an empty container and then feel bad because it gets her hopes up :(

My cat would live on these, if I let him.He gets so hooked on these, bc it's difficultnot to turn him down. Then, he won't eathis regular food! When I'm out or taking abreak from them so he eats better, he NEVERseems satisfied. He holds out on food andhas a "pouting" energy about him until histreats come back in the picture. He thinks if he comes by me when I am working, sits on the arm of my chair, that every time hewill get treats. It's so hard to deny him!My cat says, "What's not to love"! There issuch a thing as too delicious, because NOTHINGseems to come anywhere near as delicious tomy beautiful boy. He acts like he is being deprivedif he can't go through two lbs in ten days.He seems to live for his treats!

My four cats live for these treats. They favorite flavors are the chicken and catnip, but the Backyard Cookout mix is nothing they'd turn their nose up at. They beg for them several times a day, and I give a few out here and there, but wish they were a bit healthier since my cats want them so much. But if they were healthier, perhaps they wouldn't be so popular (think healthy ice cream). Anyway, in my experience you cannot go wrong getting Temptations Mixups Cat Treats for you felines. They'll love you for it.~ Kort

My cat LOVES these treats. I never saw him get so excited about anything. He is a 10 year old super chill cat but, when I offer him some Temptations Mixups, he really goes wild. He's super protective of his treats too. My Yorkie loves these as well but cat treats aren't for dogs so I just give her one when I am treating my cat so my dog doesn't feel bad (or get her eyes scratched out trying to steal some from my cat). These are soft in the middle and crunchy outside. Super small and definitely easily digestible. My cat throws up easily and he has never vomited after eating these. Great price too for a big canister. I definitely will be repurchasing.I will attach photos soon.

My cats can be picky at times with treats. Some they will tolerate, others they might ignore. They tend to dislike chicken or other meat flavors, but tend to go for the seafood flavored treats. This pack allows me to feed them these treats regularly without having to worry too much about the price.I have not noticed a significant fluctuation in their weight, so I don't imagine these treats are too unhealthy.

My 10 year old cat is not one for snacks and treats and he has a sensitive stomach so I only give him a treat once in a while and he's always meh about what I give him. I saw this mammoth canister of Temptations and I knew he kind of liked them because I had offered him some before. I took a chance and bought it. My cat loves loves loves these treats. I don't know what is in them but he goes wild when I give him some. And thankfully, they stay down. No throwing up from these treats. The snacks are small and crunchy and don't have a funky smell. It is easy to overdue it with so many on the canister but I am careful to just give my cat three or four and he gobbles them up and wants more. (My Yorkie also made it clear that she likes these. I need to check and see if she can eat them safely.)The price was good and these are making my older cat happy. Plus he needs to gain weight and these will help. He still eats his wet and dry food so they haven't spoiled his appetite for real cat food. Whatever they taste like, it must be good because my very chill cat perks up like a kitten when I give these treats to him. Definitely a good buy and I am happy my cat enjoys his treats.

It's an excellent product, have used it for years with a wide variety of felines. It's odd, but there's always one in the group not interested, and not a fussy eater. That's OK, we can get them in at night calling it "shake shake" for when the container is shaken, they all come running. Though I do need to remind them to chew their food, have a few cats that seem to inhale them.

my cat is now a treat addict because of this treat, he is literally now selling his possessions to me in order to get more cat treats. This will eventually lead to street cat treats, I suggest you not give your cat a hand full of these treats, he will get addict to it very fast

I have two cats, one super fat inactive cat and one fiesty dog cat. Both cats enjoy these treats. I have bought several types of treats but they seem to enjoy this brand the most. Fat cat likes it well because she like most anything she can eat fiesty cat stalks me when I walk by the treats and does his scratchy post thing to get me to give him treats. The size of this container is awesome and it lasts for a while. There are several flavors of this brand and all seem to be liked by the cats. I believe fat cat and fiesty cat would recommend these treats.

Having several indoor cats and two out door cats I feed we go through these containers in a few days. I shake the container at bed time and am able to do a kitty head count to make sure all indoor cats are accounted for. Make sure none got out or are stuck in a cabinet or drawer as cats seem to get into the craziest places. The two out door cats wait on their feeding table every night with anticipation for me to come out with their treats. Using them at bedtime I am alerted to a missing cat or one that does not want treats which usually means they are not feeling well. Wish they would make these in 20 lb bags as my cats go bonkers over these!

Temptations is the same price on Amazon as at my local retail store and it was so convenient to have it delivered to my door. This is one of the things I can't run out of. My cat and dog both love these. They love them so much that they will guilt me if I don't give them these treats at least 3 times a day. They guilt me. It is very un-nerving for me to have a dog and a cat staring at me with their big eyes, willing me to go to the treat jar to give them a handful. The dog understands language really well. If she hears the word, "treats" in any context, shell come running. She also usually starts the guilting session. Sadly, I am not a good teacher for the cat. A month ago, he didn't respond to the word "treats" like the dog does. Now, he listens for me to say the word. I am embarrassed to admit, I think he believes that "No Treats" means that if he's not already staring at me, he better come running because he is going to get some.

This is the only flavor and brand of treats my spoiled kitty will eat. Any other treat her nose goes up in the air and she walks away. I love that this container is so BIG! I was purchasing the pouches of treats from the local store but between the waste and the cost every week I hated it. So when I found this I knew I had to try it. As soon as you unscrew the top my cat comes running. Ha ha. This is going to sound weird but I always smell my cats treats to ensure freshness. These smell fresher than any of those pouch treats I have purchased. My spoiled cat can't go to bed without getting her special treats!

My 4 star review is not so much of a problem with the item as it is a problem with my own cat.I've always bought this and another brand for my cat, as he likes both.My second (newer) cat also likes them -- but she vomits every time she eats them. I can't really be 100% sure that the treats are causing it, but since I only find vomit on the days I give her these, it's the conclusion I've come to. I can't give them to my original cat anymore since she'll end up getting some too. This might sound obvious, but I would order a smaller bag of these treats before getting the big box. Make sure your cat can handle these before you commit to the big box. Not just because some cats are very picky, but because different foods have different effects on different cats.

These things are NOT good for your cats buuuuuttttttt.... my cats love them. I feed them high quality food but I will give a few of these to them each day just because it makes them so happy. :-P Plus, they tend to stick around if I am bribing them. Terrible, right? Seriously though, they are empty calories with zero nutritional value so use them sparingly. I cannot believe they suggest using them as a meal >.

This is pure kitty crack. I shake the container and my cats coming running for their treats. If they could have it their way they would only eat these treats.

I don't think these are the same exact chemical mix as the same flavor ones in the smaller bag. This flavor is my cat's absolute favorite, but when I buy it in this huge container, he doesn't seem to love them as much. But, if I pull out the same flavor in the tiny year more expensive bag, he comes running. I even pulled them both out and offered him a choice of one from this package and one from the other package. Even when I put one on the left side and one on the right, or switch them up, he will always choose the one from the smaller package first. So I wonder if they cheapens the quality of the treats in order to offer them in such a large package. I can't think of any other way to explain it.

If you want your cat to eat regular cat food ever again....do NOT get these treats! My cat will not stop begging for these treats! He's thoroughly addicted to them and rarely eats his regular cat food....not even wet food! He prefers these treats over anything else I give him and he will meow, whine, paw at your leg, jump on your lap, and if outside and you shake the plastic container.....he will come running from where ever he's at to get some of these treats.I use them when I want him to come inside the house. All I have to do is shake the container and in the distance, I'll hear things like dogs barking, things being knocked over, nails climbing up the backyard fence, and finally here he comes running at a full speed to get him his fix! His eyes dilated, tongue out, and drooling the whole way till he gets inside the house where I'm at with the container! Yea, my cat is a junkie for these things!I'm beginning to think the affection he gives me isn't really love....just him rubbing on my leg in an effort to guilt me into giving him these damn treats!

Yes, I feed the neighborhood cat that always comes by meowing and sitting patiently in front of my door to get his morning or late afternoon snack before he moves on to the next neighbors door for food. Cats loves these, all the different flavor ones. I tried giving the cat dry mix, and he only looks back up at me and meow, "what's this? Really?" until I give him the temptations and mix it together.

My kitty lives for these treats and she comes running the moment she hears the top “pop” open. The trick, I’ve learned, is to only give her a few on her cat “tree” so that she has to jump up to get one on each of the three levels. This way, it really IS a treat and she gets her exercise, too! The size of the container makes it economical to purchase these here, on Amazon since they are usually too expensive locally and come in much smaller sizes. I vary the tastes so she does not grow tired of the same ones over and over, although she appears to live the tuna and chicken varieties most of all.

My cat loves these so much I am slightly suspicious that they're made with kitty-crack or something. He doesn't like any other flavor but the chicken flavor. He would eat these all day and instead of his food if I let him. This mega-sized tub was priced considerably lower than what I normally find in places like Target, Walgreen's, and Jewel-Osco.

Full disclosure: my cats are horribly spoiled. I inherited them from my 95 yrld Gran, but they are amazingly great beautiful cats. That said, she used to give them half a 3oz bag of Temptations a night. *sigh* They now need to have a handful of treats a night. At least. They are not fat, just need a snack at about 7pm. If you have a cat that loves Temptations, this is so much more economical than purchasing the $3 3 oz bag at the grocery store. Mine love them so much.

I think the filling in the middle must be crack because my cats are obsessed. One of my cats needs to gain weight due to illness. After months of giving him prescription canned cat food adding these crack treats actually helped him gain some poundage. We are now going through 1 huge tub a week or something insane. He actually paws at my face in the middle of the night demanding I pour more treats. The things we do for cats.

My three owner, Primrose, Booger, and Miss Piss love these treats almost to the point of addiction. All three love these treats nigh to the end of dependence. The most surprising benefit I value of this product, this particular brand is the positive effect it has had on my daughter's rescue cat named Primrose. She came from a bad home and had severe confidence problems. Using correctly measured portions as this is a high-calorie treat, I found out feeding her the treats have been restoring her confidence, and one can hardly recognize her personality from the timid, abused, fragile kitty we rescued in 2014. I had no idea using a Cat food treat system could have this effect on an animal. I would not recommend these treats for cats struggling with weight issues. Each treat has just under two calories. I wouldn't feed Temptations treats to a cat with a severe case of tapeworms. It would be akin to trying to fill a colander with water. It is a perfect product to put weight on a rescue kitty, to use to help a timid or abused cat recover from trauma, and it is a useful tool for bringing a cat into the fold. The only adverse side effect I can say would result from the use of this product is too much weight gain & the addition aspect. Oh, and one more suggestion, never, never, never fall asleep with the lid open on your bed, for obvious reasons. In my opinion, this is an excellent product, although, it is very pricey.I would suggest checking your local market before buying this online. You may be able to find this same size bottle for a much more reasonable price. Always keep an eye on Amazon for sales on this item. If there were not so far from town, I would purchase them from our local store as the price is almost to the penny, but I like the convenience of having them delivered to my doorstep each month. I give this product a five star and the seller I have purchased from multiple times is prompt, not made in China. Temptations is an import from Canada.P.S. The beautiful white cat with grey markings and blue eyes if my Fefe. RIP Finona

My cat and dog love these! They fight over them, I can't just give them to the cat, the dog gets mad and starts doing tricks for them!He will Sit, Stay, Speak, Roll Over, and do High Five. All tricks were taught to him using these treats and he learned them all in a day!The cat will give us his paws, fetch, sit like a Bunny and give kisses for these treats. If they hear me shaking the container, they both come running so fast, they slide across the Kitchen floor and fall over each other to be first to get them! I'm so glad they finally come in this size, I couldn't stock them fast enough!

I recently purchased the 30oz. Cat party sized container of Temptations chicken flavored cat treats on here via a daily lightning deal. (Seriously, love the prices!) I am not preparing my cat for an impending apocalypse. No, I'll be lucky if it lasts more than a few months. You see, Temptations have created some kind of kitty crack disguised as delicious treats for my furry friend, as now I fear my cat has a serious addiction and I unfortunately am her biggest enabler. She will hunt me down multiple times a day in search of her chicken flavored fix and I simply could not keep up with her insatiable demand. Thanks to Amazon for offering up a nice discount for bulk kitty treat purchases, as I fear I may have suffered serious injuries if I wasn't able to provide her treats on a regular basis. I am grateful I can go more than a couple of days now without having to run out to the store in order to advert a serious feline crisis of epic proportions. Amazon and Temptations, thank you for saving me and making my cat the happiest furball on the planet.

I don't know if it's the treats or the cat, but these just aren't working for my old guy. He liked them when I got a sample pack, so, of course, when I buy a gazillion of them, he barfs when he eats them. And, also, of course, he'd like to keep eating them. Until he develops opposable thumbs and learns how to clean up after himself, he needs to find new snacks.

I have 5 cats, 3 outside, 2 inside. I have been buying this for years. I don't know why they are so addicting ( we call it kitty crack) I just shake the container and they come running!

Had tried all the fancy snacks and my three cats just left them. A couple of years ago I took my three cats to the vet for their annual checkup. After their shots she gave them a snack. My most finicky cat gobble it down. Ask her what it was and she said temptations. Bought a small bag at first just in case this was a fluke. They proved me wrong. They love it. Now one of my cats wants this instead of canned food. So while the other two have their canned breakfast, the other one gets this snack. Glad my vet gave a treat.

My cats go bonkers over these treats - they won't even consider their old favorite now that they have discovered these, and I thought that wasn't possible. I use them in a treat tower which is now the center of their universe. One of my cats simply won't eat anything else while the others consider this either an appetizer, dessert or between-meal snack. We are going through these treats like crazy so I am pleased that I can get them in this larger tub. Defintely a kitty pleaser!

Hard to believe I am ordering cat treats by mail order, but with Prime, it's way cheaper than the store, particularly in this bulk container. We have an old cherished cat who pretty much insists on these exclusively, and fortunately, it meets dietary needs. The cat's an old friend and I really don't mind spending a little extra for him. A tip: If you serve out of the bulk container, they may get stale towards the end. I bought the small bags of these treats for a long time and saved up a dozen bags that I reload from the bulk container. They stay fresher that way, and the cat seems to have an awareness of the container. Now, if you are reading this, you almost certainly know that Temptations have a nearly addictive effect. My guess is that it is the right blend of ingredients and the crunchy outside/soft inside texture. If you feed your cat these exclusively, you may have issues down the road if your cat is diagnosed with a disease and needs a special diet. We ran into that, and if I had it to do over again, I would have restricted these treats to being treats from the beginning. We ended up in a situation of practically force feeding the special diet or letting him just enjoy these... basically a quality of life question, and if he dies a year sooner eating these instead of force feeding something he hates, I'm ok with that. Well, that's really not part of a product review, but I feel better writing it.

I understand 5 stars means you love something. To set the record straight, I have never tried them so I cannot say I love them. But out girls Ally Kristina and Olivia Sky gobble them up so I assume they love them. What I do love though is the price, and that the lid stays on tight even when the girls open the cabinet, pull them out onto the floor then push them around the house and eventually down the stairs. Yes the do really love their Temptations Treats, but they prefer the smaller size container with the snap on lid. The truth is it's nice to get a good deal, but I'd buy them regardless the price. That is until the girls decide one day they've had enough and turn up their collective noses and walk away from them.
