Fine, but were destroyed in the California fires.

Super helpful for the eclipse. Shared it with some peeps in Walhala, NC and the definition was awesome, it's like you were on the moon!

These came in a cute color and worked really well! They certainly magnified! Once you figure out "the trick" to locating the eclipse when you raise your head, you will be pleased!

These were perfect for viewing the solar eclipse and any time you want to look at the sun

There are cheaper and better ways to enjoy looking at the sun. The binoculars just show a big white circle, I prefer to see the sun in all its splendor with real colors. I returned them.

A great product and a life changing experience. I can't wait until the next one in 2024.

At first I thought these didnt work but you have to get used to looking thru them. I can see sunspots with it. Its interesting to watch sun interact with clouds but I cant see any planets around the sun with these which would have been nice.

Very high quality. I needed something for the eclipse in August, and I had a choice between these (Very Expensive) and one of those cardboard things. So why did I get solar binoculars that I may never use again? Well, I have a problem with impulse control. But they did the job more than admirably.

I bought two of these binoculars, one was perfect and high quality, the other had out of alignment optics. No problem returning the defective pair.

Shipped quickly, worked great for the eclipse. The Sun appeared whiter and in much higher definition (sunspots visible) than through the typical glasses. When I look at the lenses from the outside, it appears as if there are scratches on the inside, but for all I know that is just some artifact of the manufacturing process, as they work perfectly.

Worked great. I was in South Carolina and watched through them till almost 95%. That's when a puffy cloud eclipsed the eclipse. I have them tucked away until 2024 for the trip to Saranac Lake, NY. BTW the glasses I bought on Amazon, although recalled, worked fine and I'll be keeping them for 2024 also. In the meantime, we need to get OSHA, FDA, ISO, CE, UL, and others into China ASAP so there will not be the shortage in 2024 that disappointed so many this year.

I was so glad to watch the eclipse event of my lifetime with these well made binoculars. The people around, some NASA engineers from Huntsville included, shared info and the binoculars for a safe and up close view of the Sun's surface, solar storms, and the first view of Mercury I have longed to see. I will continue to use for transits across the Sun as well as more solar storms and flares. Luntsolarsystems.comEnjoy... Remember, don't look at the Sun directly. Focus in with the binoculars.

These worked really well for the recent eclipse, but you can use them anytime the sun is out and the sky is "more-or-less" cloudless

I used these to view the recent total eclipse of the sun. I was able to see sunspots before the eclipse started progressing. I compared looking through these versus regular eclipse glasses. The difference in the size of the sun was amazing and lead to a much more enjoyable experience. I will continue to use these to view sunspots.

Works great for it's purpose. However, the sun lens do NOT come off. I had to get something to watch the eclipse and all the glasses were out so I feel like the price was extorted a bit high. With the sun lens permanently on, it makes it useless as anything other than looking at the sun and the details aren't that great on the sun.

This was a great tool to view the Aug 21, 2017 eclipse. Initially I thought it is not working because you cannot see anything else but the sun and you have to have the binoculars pointing at the sun to be able to see it. Even a slight bit off, and you will think you are pointing at sun and see nothing, so the binoculars must be broken! NOPE - try it again, exactly pointing at the sun. Initially I had to search the sun while looking through the binoculars, but slowly got hold of how to locate the sun while viewing through it. The view is amazing and is perfectly comfortable for the eyes.

Ok, unlike other people who've said these worked right out of the box, I can't see ANYTHING with them. Took off the lens caps on both sides. I can't even get through STEP A) IDP ADJUSTMENT: "Set the interpupillary distance by grasping the SUNoculars body with both hands while looking through both eyepiece cups and bending it slowly until you can see one circle of view through both eyepiece cups."I'm standing outside to do this, on a bright sunny day. The lens caps are off. The sun is extremely bright in the sky. And yet there is NO LIGHT at all coming through them! Just solid black. Tried adjusting all of the interocular distance and the focus knobs. I've twisted everything there is and still see NOTHING! So frustrating! Called the company, and they aren't accepting calls "due to the high call volume" (huh, wonder WHY?). Their website has no troubleshooting information. So, they don't work, and no help available. Biggest rip-off EVER!!UPDATE: I fully realize that that these are made for looking at nothing but the sun. I was NOT trying to view trees. The problem is that I'm a person with a very small frame, and the inter-pupillary distance won't adjust to my size. Result: I could only see the sun through one eye at a time, and it was up very high, not in the central field of view as with all other binoculars. Thus, the instruction to grasp and bend "until you see one circle of view" NEVER WORKED for me. Yes, I was standing outside, with all four lens caps off, and pointing them in the direction of the bright sun, but could see nothing in the central field of view. No, I'm not stupid. I'm quite surprised that Amazon allows comments like that against reviewers. Because the company had no troubleshooting tips, and because I was personally attacked for reporting a problem, I'm leaving my one star.

Took my Sunoculars right out of the box and took them outside. Wow - they are great! My eyes are very bad but no issues using the Sunoculars. I could focus in with no trouble. Happy to have them in time for the eclipse! They are sturdy and come with a nice carrying case.

Perfect for viewing sunspots, can't wait to see the solar eclipse! Fits me, with a small pupillary distance, and my brother, with a ginormous one. Also, can use w/o my glasses, a +6.75 diopter correction.

Built like a pair of nice birding binoculars with twist out eye cups. Nice crisp view of solar disk. Should be a real plus to have handy during the eclipse.

Received yesterday, love them already. Very good quality. Each front end has a removable lens cap (but with a holder so that they can 'hang' off the front if desired). Rear side has a one-piece cover for the eyepieces. Good quality pouch and neckstrap. Very pleased with the focusing and the diopter adjustment on the right side, I'm blind as a bat but was able to focus these in just fine. Excellent quality solar view.I have a Lunt Solar Systems Ha telescope, so was prepared for their usual high quality, but was a bit reticent about the price. Having received them, however, I'm quite happy with the purchase, and may even purchase a second set for the family (just try and take this one out of my hands during the eclipse!).
