Took it on a 17 day river trip down the Grand Canyon. It looks the part. Rugged build. Rubberized port cover. But it barely charged despite sitting in the sun for hours. Six of us had a variety of different solar chargers. The only ones that worked decently were multi panel chargers. Perhaps it has a thermal cut-off because, being black, it got very hot in the sun. TIP: if the sun is your only energy source, buy more panels, size matters when you're harvesting energy. The company's customer service was very responsive and offered to replace or refund my purchase. I would rate their customer service five stars, but the charger I used simply fell short. I purchased mine because of all the great reviews. Not sure of the discrepency between my experience and other customers'.

I got this solar battery pack in hopes that I would be able to solely power my cellular phone off of it. It has 4 blue LED lights to indicate charge volume, and 1 green LED to indicate that its charging. I am happy to say that its works very well for this solar charging feature. I have placed the 4 panels placed the south-west facing windowsill of my house and it manages to about 20-25% of capacity (~4000mAh) filled daily. I say this as this is a practical measurement and varies by weather (rain/clouds). However, this pack gets charged fairly consistently to one light greater everyday. It never goes past three lights however when just charging via solar. You have to plug it into a wall socket and charge it to 100% that way to get that 4th LED to come on. I think there is a safety mechanism in the pack to prevent so it just stops getting power at 100%. I use it every night to charge my phone up overnight keeping it for a full day of use, while it charges on the window. I think that this is the most useful aspect of this charger. It is recommended that you put it to line charge it to 100% once a month or so, to keep the battery healthy. I have taken it on my backpack to charge while outside, but it does not charge as much as I get from keeping it on the windowsill. I have also experimented with using this bank to charge both my phone as well as other items, fit-bits, non-solar banks, and got good results. I recommend it if you want to do something to help the planet, and have a conversation starter, this is a good option.

I got this as a gift for a Soldier buddy of mine who deployed to Iraq. He followed their directions and charged it via electrical supply to get a good solid full charge. While out on a mission he had to use it once to charge up some of his gear and now the solar charger in full sun will not recharge the power pack. After getting danced around about replacing, returning, or exchanging the charger because of another style charger (orange 4-panel version) was also defective and had that replaced. I was told only a refund of $20 is all they could do which is at half the total cost. The Soldier buddy of mine mailed back the unit and all items that came with it so I could go through Amazon to return the defective product. Now I know why all these GREAT! reviews.. the rep I got blackmailed me to adjust this review to get a better rating for their company. With that poor service!! I will shout the entire ordeal with them through a megaphone if I have to so others don't make the same mistake with their multi panel solar chargers! Out of all the chargers purchased from this same company, the single solar panel charger is the one that is not giving anyone headaches.

I purchased this solar charger for (predominately) charging my iPhone 7+ while camping, hiking, at the beach, etc. I had trouble at first but this company’s customer service is awesome about communicating and correcting any issues. Apple has this problem with requiring some ridiculous proprietary charging cable. Aftermarket (Apple) cables don’t work at all with the solar charger. But It does charge my other emergency charge devices. Works fine with my JBL flip 2. Even charged my e-cig. It doesn’t charge my Apple Watch though. So if you’re buying this for an iPhone just make sure you use the original charging cable. Maybe even one from and older iPhone as I found that worked best. For the price, I’d say go ahead and get one or even a couple of these solar charges for outdoor activities and even emergencies. I’m happy enough with the device and the great customer service that this is a purchase I can recommend.

I ordered this charger to leave it in my husbands car to charge his phone.I ask him to leave it on top of his dashboard when he steps out of the car so it gets charged through solar with ease. Its been a great use in our last 2 picnics over this long weekend.I got lot of rewards on this for its capacity and how compact it is.Pros:*Very compact and sleek*It folds into sleeves so its not bulky.*It can easily fit in any sized bag.*It charges faster through usb definetely.*It acts as a fast charger.*we can charge more than 1 device at the same time.*Great price for this capacity*The light that's comes with this is so bright and a great advantage.*Its heavy and solid so will definetely last long.*We dont have to worry about remembering to get the battery charged as it can use solar to charge itself.(we charged it in the beach using solar and it was fully charged before we left).Tips:*Open all the sleeves while charging through solar power.*Long press the button for light.Cons:*The button given to close the bank is not that great.

I bought this charger as we live in Florida and that means the occasional hurricane. With hurricane season already in swing I decided that a good sized battery pack with solar panels would be a good addition to the readiness kit. I looked at quite a few before I settled on this one as I wanted a battery pack with more than one panel if possible as well as a large mAh battery and this charger fit the bill.Over the last week that I have had it I have put it through it's paces, it has been able to charge a Galaxy S7 edge, and a Galaxy 9 plus two times each (four charges total) on one charge of the battery pack, there was still some power left and I probably could have gotten one more charge out of it. I then put the unit in the sun for 4hrs a day from 12pm through 4pm making sure to adjust it every 30 min or so to keep the light as direct as possible and I achieved a full charge in six days (roughly 24hrs of sunlight from about a 20% remaining battery). What you have to keep in mind is that the Solar charging is NOT meant to be the primary way it is charged. If you can keep that in mind then the unit will indeed meet everything advertised. As a final test I drained the battery to about 50% late last night and kicked on my gasoline generator and went to charging this unit and it took a charge without issue as I expected it would in about 6hrs and 45 min using a standard Samsung white wall charger. For a large battery pack with backup solar charging capabilities this fits exactly what I am looking for when it comes to hurricane prep.

My wife and I recently went on a trip to India and decided that my power bank was not going to be sufficient. After some reading some reviews I decided to go with this battery pack. Not only does it have 2 USB ports, it comes with solar charging capability and a flashlight. I fully charged the battery pack before we left and after 5 days of using the battery pack to charge both of our Samsung S10's, I found myself needing to use the solar panels and to my delight they actually work! I left the panels open for about 5 hours in the sun and at night time, I was able to charge our phones! Very durable, I must have dropped it 3 or 4 times. STILL WORKED!Keep in mind, this battery pack is slightly heavy. Makes a big difference if you will be carrying your backpack ALL DAY as I did. But it is WORTH IT!Also, there is no way to hang the solar panels on the back of the backpack, so MAYBE in version 2.0 they will add Carabiner hooks or something.

As an eccentric, one of the many things I enjoy doing in my spare time is collecting items for my hoard of supplies to use when the End of Days comes. One of my favorite items to get to add to this collection are solar chargers. What will happen to the internet when the rest of humanity is wiped out and I am forced to live all alone in this cruel world? When my money is all gone, will the unmanned Comcast autosystem freeze my account for default payment, and shut my internet off? Will I even care about these things at that point? Regardless of what I feel at that time, I sleep easily right now knowing that when That Day of Days comes I shall be alright with this badboy. I currently keep this lil puppy on my windowsill, steadfastly ever-charging, waiting for his moment to shine. The day will come when blood rains from the heavens, and the internet is gone, but I will be okay, because my cache of solar chargers will still allow me to play Stardew Valley on my iPad, even without the internet. I do believe it shall be this very one that holds out the longest. But, although I am all alone in this vacant universe, there is a spiteful, irony-loving God that continuously dictates my path, despite my constant and never-ending attempts to appease him and even my attempts to prepare myself for his wrath. Eventually, this solar charger will break, and do live in constant fear of the day this inevitably happens. I know this shall come to pass. As it must. And I, as I always do, every time, will gaze up upon the heavens and curse the God that has left me to rot in this ever-looping chain of events. To be clear, the charger is working very well right now though!! In the meantime, this lil buddy can very easily fit in my purse, and I was also thinking I could leave it in my car’s back window while I’m out to charge it? Idk, I haven’t tried it yet. We shall see what comes to pass. #mementomori!

We have been searching for a portable solar charger for our devices for a while now. We own a few of the traditional power banks but they do die without electricity. This thing did not disappoint! We purchased it primarily for our summer and fall camping trips. We have found ourselves using it much more often. We have taken it to the pool, fishing trips, and just around town. I love that it charges fast and holds the charge. We recently had a power outage at the house and this charger came in handy. It has a bright flashlight which is a bonus for power outages or adventuring. The clip is also nice to hook it on your gear for optional sun exposure. We did get it wet via the pool water and a river. It still performed just as good as before! It is lightweight and no bigger than our smartphones which makes it easy to take with. This is perfect for your day to day life, outdoor adventures, or to gift someone.

This is a wallet leather like power bank, which is similar to my pixel 3XL size. Unfolding the solar panel comes to four times larger than when folded. The 25000 amh power bank itself is a large capacity for me which can last for a long trips without using the wall charging. The rugged case look pretty sturdy and waterproof. But the solar side might be little fragile compared to the back case. The solar panel is a bonus to me if I need some extra juice without any outlet. After I got this power bank, I put it under sun a whole afternoon, after the battery percentage indicators fill around 25%. It's not fast but should be good enough if you are traveling somewhere no electricity.========update after a two day hiking=======================I had expected the solar panel to be a main bonus on the power source during my multiple day hiking. I took the powerbank out on a two day hiking but found it can barely charge anything when I hang the solar panel on my backpack. There are two reasons I found, one is that in the manuals you got said the solar charging is the last resource use can use. You can hardly rely on the 5w solar panel as input at outdoor as a main power input. Also, if you hang on the backpack, the sun light can not cast directly on your panel which further decrease the power input. efficiency. It can be a good power source but not a good one for outdoor. Therefore, I plan to return it.

We owned a lot of battery pack because we do a lot of outdoor activities. We take a lot of videos and photos for our channel/website. We also do game streaming while out so reliable battery packs is a must have.PROS:* heavy and quality. This is heavy battery and we are not complaining because that’s what you expect for a 25000 mAh battery. The battery charge phone all day and we are constantly using the phone for our vlogging needs.* the solar charger capabilities are good for what it is. I’m glad that we can clip this to our bag or leave in the dashboard while traveling/out hiking and it constantly charge the battery pack.* you can use while you are charging it under the sun.* well made. Hubby loves how expensive this look. Very well made and the stitches are all even.* the flashlight feature is very bright. Perfect if you camp or when there is a power outage.* it charges fast. MUST use OEM cord of your device to make this work. If you buy knock out cords that says fast charger it’s not going to give you that capability. Also the longer cord you have the longer it takes for your gadget to charge.* small but very powerful. This is the same size of my LG G7 thinQ phone*BOTH charging ports works. I read the negative reviews before I buy this but bought it anyway and I’m so glad I did.CONS:*none so far. We’ve had this for two weeks and use this every single day and night and have not encountered any problems yet. Will update this review if I do

My wife bought it for my birthday. First thing I did was I charged it to 100%. When I received it it was at 75%. I used the USB cable that came with the charger. I own a note 5 phone and I wanted to see how long it would take to charge the phone. When I started my phone was at 23% and it took 2hrs /10 min to charge my phone. I have not used the solar panel yet. When I use it I will write a review about it. I've now used the solar part of my charger and it works pretty well. I charged my android phone and my wifes iphone. Hers was down to 50% and it charged to 100% in about 3 hrs. My android phone was about 60% and it charged to 90% in 3hrs. I've had this solor charger for about a month and it works pretty well. To me it seems to work better when you have the solor panel out in the sun to turn the power on the solor charger while charging out doors. So far it's working pretty well.

Update: 6-6-19Seller reached out to me and explained how to resolve my issue with the lights. (1) I needed to charge it longer on a 2A charger - I tried this and it resolved the first issue. (2) The first light in the bank only flashes when it is charging. Blue if its charging with electricity and Green if it is charging with Solar. Not sure if that was in the instructions - Probably.... My bad. As I had sent the units back to Amazon the seller sent me a free unit as a good will gesture. Thats very nice of them seeing I was the problem! and great service!Original Revenue. I really wanted to love this product. The other reviews are excellent so I chose it over other solar chargers. Build quality and materials used appear high end. Problem was the first unit and then the replacement both had the same issues out of the box. See pic. This is (assumed to be) fully charged after I left it plugged in overnight. Only the two middle LEDs are lit up. The third and fourth never stayed lit (they came on intermittently when charging but never appeared to reach or hold a charge) and the 1st one never lit up. So in short you can't tell when you have full power remaining, or are down to the last quarter. I would have even tried a third unit because I wanted one so badly for camping, but Amazon didn't give me an option for a replacement of a replacement.... bummer.

It certainly charges with Direct Sunlight, which is what I bought it for -- if i am some Emergency situation where I have no access to my Car or Wall Outlet -- and for that I give it 5 Stars. As a regular Power Bank, I do not recommend this. It does not support pass-through when plugged in to a Wall Outlet so you cannot charge your device at the same time. And the thing that really pisses me off -- if you charge your phone overnight, it will not be 100% charged in the morning. Why? Because when the Charger fully charges your phone to !00%, it will Automatically Turn Off, and not Turn On again.... so your Phone will start drawing power, and may be 95% in the Morning.

It might have been anomaly. The manufacturer stands behind it service. I was reimbursed for the defective product. They sent another charger but the charger cable did not work. I had to find a cable that works with the charger. The manufacturer reimbursed me for the product. This is a quality control matter. I would recommend that you check the product to make sure it works well - meet your expectations. It charged the battery of a phone even in cloudy weather and natural LED/CFL Lighting. I found that it will not charge the power bank from an wall outlet if you are also charging a device connected to the power bank. Other than the issues expressed, it is a great product.

I was not expecting much from this but was pleasantly surprised. This for my son who is in Boy Scouts and does a lot of camping. Before I gave it to him I had to test it. I took it out on a fishing trip. My phone battery was at half once we got out onto the water. It was a partly cloudy day. I put the charger on the deck and plugged in my phone. To my surprise the charger charged my phone and the solar panels were charging their battery pack. After 8 hrs on the water the battery pack had 3/4 charge and my phone which I used several times during the day was full charge. This unit is a little heavy but my son said no problem to the weight. I found the solar panels are susceptible to scratches. So probably not the best for a day on the beach.

After seeing all these excellent reviews for this solar charger, I wanted to purchase it and try it myself. So far it’s working for me. I always bring this with me when I go to the park with my daughter. My phone battery is always low since I am always taking picture of my daughter. So this comes in pretty handy. I just leave this solar charger on the grass and let it charge. When my phone battery is low, I could just plug it in and charge it.Ps the light on this solar charger is pretty bright. (Brighter then the flashlight on the iPhone)

3/5/2019 Received new solar portable battery bank today via UPS. PLugged in my phone and usb only fan into battery bank. The fan worked great and battery bank did not shut off in less than a minute as the first one I received did. I think it is possible that with the fan only plugged into the power bank the power bank does not sense the light load of the fan and it times out to save the charge. Solaraise was very helpful and made sure I was happy with their product. Their customer service is awesome, thanks Lucy! I am now ready for hurricane season.3/2/2019 Would not power my Opolar 9" usb only desk fan. Fan would run for less than a minute and power bank would shut down. Tried contacting Soaraise twice by email, but received no response. Amazon easily refunded my money.Edit 3/4/2019 Soaraise has contacted me and is sending me a new unit free of charge. I am changing my review to 5 stars, stay tuned to see if replacement works, if not, I will be dropping to 1 star again.

Just got my charger & out of the box it charged up 2 tablets & a cell phone. Was less than half discharged. I am impressed with the quality of this device. Appears to be made well and with quality solar panels. Handsome leather like outside covering with quality stitching etc. The company even followed up with a personal Email to see if I was satisfied. Not cheap Chinese junk. Quality item. Very happy with it.

I realy like this charger/solar pannel. It does every thing I need it to do. I say it's worth the money. I you camp or hike you need one of these. This is very well made and charges phones or tablets like a champ!

This charger is fantastic. I've been looking for a solar powered portable charger for a while and I wanted one that had high capacity for my long Hiking & camping trips. Having to carry several batter packs adds weight but since this one will charge by the 4 solar panels I can go with just this one charger. It charged my Samsung phone 6 times and it still has 2 of the 4 power lights still on. I really like that it has 2 USB connectors so I can connect my phone and my action camera at the same time to charge. The built in light is really cool because its super bright. One thing I love is its easy to tell when its charging by solar. It has a blue light on the side that comes on when its in the sun so I know its working.

This is a very good power bank to take camping, I am planning on using it for a backpacking trip, I bought a few of these and this one seems to be the most durable. I charged it in my house and it was able to charge my phone many times, I would recommend!

It charges both iPad and iPhone at the same time as promised. Just remember to use iPad original charging cable to charge iPad because it didn't work when I used a universal cable. On our camping trip, we were able to get some solar power during the day. I really satisfied with the product.

I’ve owned a lot of portable power banks, and I take one with me everywhere I go. My biggest problem was that my power banks would die and I had no way to recharge them. Regular solar power chargers are okay, but they take forever to recharge. Having 4 solar panels on here really makes a huge difference. This one works really well. Would recommend!

I bought this for when I go camping. To be able to charge my phone at night and allow the battery pack to recharge itself during the day using the solar panels allows me to be away from the grid for as long as I wish without having to worry about keeping a phone charged for emergencies.

I wanted a portable power bank with a high capacity after going without power for a long time after Hurricane Michael. I wasn't really looking for solar charging because I planned to either car charge or charge during times the generator is running. More importantly, I didn't know solar was an option. After searching I found the regular one's without solar cost at least the same or more for 25000 mAh capacity. So I got this one.It is big and heavy and feels solid. The thing is a beast. The solar panel's aren't flimsy either. Seems very well put together. It is winter now but still blinks green that it is charging via solar. I have gotten about half a charge in 1 day from the short daylight hours. Over usb, it charges fast. The output allows for fast charging of my phones and tablets.Mathematically speaking, it should charge my phone from 0 to 100% 8 times. I haven't tested that theory but after charging 2 phones fully, it doesn't even lose 1 light on the charge indicator.

I got this for my father in law to take on his hunting trip. I usually dont review, but he has bragged about this thing ever since he got back a few days. He left it sitting on the dash of his truck to charge it. He said it charged his phone fast and held the charge. He loved the built in flashlight..

I’ve bought many solar powered portables recently, but this ones got three solar charging panels. I guess it charges three times faster and has a pretty big capacity of 24000mah and the most important thing is that it isn’t even expensive. Such a awesome item at such a good price, what more can you ask for?

Stuck this in cloudy weather and it still charged up pretty well. It is a little heavy because of the large battery so this is something that is best left for emergencies in your house or in your car. I really like that it has so many panels and folds up very nicely in a nice protective case. Would definitely recommend this solar charger.

Update: 30th Nov, 2018:* The time and efficiency to charge your device depends on how much the unit itself is charged. If unit is fully charged, it charges faster and effectively.* A good alternative to highly priced alternative battery/power sources in market for the DashCam. You need a constant power source for DashCam in parking mode as most of the DashCams now-a-days are super-capacitor operated (not battery operated). The battery operated dash cams hold charge for only few minutes of video recording (practically of no use in parking mode-dashcam recording). I am using this solar charger for my dashcam, and the best part is it can discharge-charge at the same time. I have plugged in the dashcam while the solar charger itself is lying on the dashboard under direct sunlight. It works perfect. With no lapse in video recording. And if ever I want another charging port, this solar charger has two of them.!!!—————— ——————————————— ————————————— —————————————!!!Original Review:-It works with all my phones, tablets & bluetooth headphones. Equipped with 2 USB Ports, it can charge two devices at the same time. I tested for my phone and it charged from zero to full in around 2hrs. It would help me in my next camping trip. The idea behind buying the solar panel loaded phone charger was to use it as a power source for my car dashcam (that's parking mode enabled but has very little battery life). Portable & of the size of my smartphone, the unit recharges itself even under the lamp light indoor. Outdoor (direct sunlight) solar charging is faster than indoor light sources.Unit is a little heavier than I expected.Note: I would never expose it to rain or any water as it's my personal opinion that it may damage the unit.***===—————————————————————————————————————————————— ===***I always try hard to give personal opinion on products I use in daily life, So that others can benefit from my experience.
