If you are planning to wear these around the house, they are fine. If you are thinking you are going to use these shoes to stand up all day, your feet will hurt. My feet every day are blood red because of how bad they hurt me. If I don't walk much then I am in no pain but if I do my 10k steps per day, I'm expected to have red feet and swollen ankles.I'm looking for a new pair that won't hurt me so much.
I actually bought these to use as indoor slippers. I work at home mostly and wear them everyday, so I need a good quality slipper-like shoe. These are a more relaxed fit, and I have narrow feet so I ordered a half-size smaller than usual. I still have plenty of room and not even close to being tight. I like how light they are with a solid sole that does not slip or squeak on my hard wood floors. I probably would not wear these as regular shoes due to the loafer style and my narrow feet not providing a snug fit. However, for what I bought them for, they are perfect and worth the price.
I purchased these slip-ons in order to have a easy to put on shoe with a rubber sole to utilize while I rehab from hip replacement surgery. I have been surprised by how comfortable these shoes really are and have already ordered a 2nd pair in the lighter taupe color and hope they make them in many more colors? As I would love to purchase them in as many colors as possible. They are super comfortable and worth every penny. Everyone thinks, as I did before that you need names like Nike, New Balance, etc. To have the most comfortable shoe. These are the most comfortable slip-on shoe I've ever owned. I hope they continue to make them, add different colors and continue to carry my size 15M.
These are an okay fairly light and comfortable shoe, but not as light and cushy as my Go Walk 4s. All of the materials are thicker and stiffer by comparison, slightly heavier overall weight as well. I do like that you can get them in extra wide as I have nerve and pressure sensitivity in my feet, so the looser the fit, the better in my books. These extra wides are also not as wide as my Skechers Go Walk 4s but they're still loose enough that my feet don't feel strangled or overly cramped. The foot openings are a tad smaller, but manageable. Comfort is a-okay with bare feet on the memory foam, you can feel the upper top of the shoe pressure slightly and there is a minimal foot arch, I imagine they'll soften up a bit once they get broken in a little more. The subtle two-tone coloring between grey and black adds just a little style to them as I don't believe they are intended to be as casual looking as the Go Walks. Insoles seem to be glued down fairly firmly but can be pulled out.The two things I don't like about them are the same complaints I have with their Go Walks and other brands of shoes: (1) There's no loop sewn into the heel to grab onto, thus most of the time the heel edge of the shoe folds in as you slide your foot in and you have to jam your finger into the back to lift it straight up and out, or you end up using your finger like a shoe horn. (2) The other major flaw is the pattern used on the bottom of the shoes. The pattern of molded gaps and indentations are just small and large enough to get little sticks, rocks and dirt stuck in them only to dry out and/or be tracked around wherever you go. It's not like they really need tread like an all-season radial tire, just doesn't make much sense. I'd be more satisfied with a pattern that has less deep grooves that hold onto debris and mud. Other than that, a nice shoe for the price, but not as light and comfy or flexible as my Go Walk 4s.
Had to place insoles to take up some of the 'slop' of the shoe during normal paced walks. Only good for short distance, since over 1/2 mile causes irritated soles. I'm a long distance walker, and NOTHING compares to the great comfort of my Ascics or New Balance athletic shoes. Otherwise, a nice shoe, but prefer the comfy snugness of shoe stringed foot ware.
I bought these in prep for an upcoming hip surgery since I would be limited to how much I could bend over for a while and didn't want to burden other people with having to take my shoes on an off all the time. They are easy to get on without any issues but are a snug enough fit that they don't slip around when you walk. The memory foam inner sole provides good cushion without sacrificing support. They are very comfortable and have had no issues wearing them all day while I was breaking them in.
These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I wear them 2 to 4 times per week, all day long and my feet are never tired when I take them off. I wear a 14 regular in most shoes and these fit as expected and are even a little roomy. They seem to be built well and haven't experienced any snags on the upper material, despite catching them on the corners of furniture and office chairs. I haven't experienced any separation of the sole in the 4 months I've worn them so far. Hoping these last for a long time, but would definitely buy again.
My feet are my thermostat, if they're hot than I'm hot. I've worn flip flops year round for years, there are the first "real" pair of shoes i've worn. they are very light and make my feet happy.
This is my second pair of these shoes. I got the first pair about two years ago. They are very comfortable, light and airy. Most people would not have to do this but I add a thick Dr. Scholls silicone insert because I have arthritis. A long time ago, I found that if you find anything that fits or works well and is good quality, you better buy one or more of the same because you won't be able to fine them in the near future.
These are nice looking shoes, and pretty comfortable. The lip on the right shoe sort of collapsed on me after a month or so, but it doesn't rub against my heel or anything like that. It's enough for me to take off a star, as I don't think I've had a shoe start to show signs of wear like that so quickly. I probably did it myself, but again, I haven't had other shoes give that opportunity so quickly. The fit was a smidge smaller than expected, but not too small to wear in comfort. After nearly two months, they've started to wear in a little.
Big Skecher fan, long-time user. I've only had soft tops and spongy bottoms that make them feel like slippers. These are very nice, sharp-looking shoes that I would wear with really anything from sport coat to shorts. Soft mesh upper, roomy for wide feet. The bottoms are a lot sturdier and not as spongy a step, but still great.(I also notice that on the Skecher website these shoes sell for around $80. Could be a sales ploy to get you to come in here or another discount website to purchase; perhaps they sell more that way. Either way, $50-ish is very reasonable for shoes like these).
I've never written a review about shoes, but these are probably the best shoes I've ever bought. They're like the most comfortable yet supportive slippers that you can wear wherever you go. Perhaps a bit snug at first, but they loosened up over the first week. They're easy to slip into and out of, without using a shoe horn or a hand, yet stay snug on the feet. I live in Minneapolis and it's still quite cold for my daily walk to and from mass transit for work, but my feet never get cold (wind doesn't seem to penetrate them) while walking outside and they never get too hot while in the office. I'm almost tempted to order several pairs so I don't have to worry about them being discontinued when I need a new pair.
I tried these on in a local brick n mortar store, but Amazon had them for about 1/2 the price so I thought I'd give them a try. I'm a teacher and am on my feet all day. I get about a school year out of my shoes and then they're toast. The two main things I look for are lightweight and comfort. These definitely hit the nail on the head. My feet aren't narrow so "dress" shoes are not an option. I like how these shoes stretch to fit my foot, and the relaxed fit should be called comfort fit. I am tempted to order another pair for next year, but I want to see if these will make it to June. Even if I only get a year out of them, Amazon's price makes the decision to reorder a no-brainer. So far they're my new favorite shoe.
So far so good. I normally wear a 10.5(2W) to 11(2W). Based on my experience with another pair of Sketchers loafers I ordered these as 10(2W) and they fit perfectly. These stretch and are meant to be a little snug otherwise the lace-less fit wouldn't work. So be sure to order a half size lower than normal and you should be good. This model looks nice, nothing fancy, nothing formal and nothing outlandishly sporty. ! Since I only just received them I can't attest to their durability.-update-Not the most comfortable shoe in the world. Took these on vacation and it feels like I've been walking on concrete. I didn't notice at first how thin the padding is. These are fine for short jaunts into town or for work if you're in an office, but I wouldn't recommend these for long walks or other active needs.
I bought these for a gift for my dad who had just had back surgery and needed a slip-on shoe for around the house, since he couldn't bend over to put on ordinary shoes. He loved them - they were a perfect solution for comfy but sturdy shoes. Like slippers but with a sturdy sole. The top tongue of the shoe is very snug for him. He solved the problem easily by cutting the two elastic stretch areas on each side of the tongue. Haha! The low price made that a workable option, and they were just for around the house. But since it's hardly noticeable, it would probably be fine to wear them outside like that. Thank you for stocking such large sizes. He has a very hard time finding size 14 shoes.
I got these in navy with the white sole edging. I wish they had a sole edging in grey is my only wish. Otherwise these things are comfy, they look sharp, they breath, and they're light weight. I first wore them to a casual dinner and musical with green khakis. They looked and felt great. These are going to be my go-to shoes for casual Fridays at work with some jeans and my easy weekend dinner and drinks shoes. I would not do anything too athletic or rigorous in these shoes though. They're really just for walking around. Looking forward to putting some carefree miles in these.
These are way too long in the toe box for a 9D when I just purchased the GO WALK in 9D and they fit perfect. The shoe industry has lost its mind with each model and manufacturer's standard sizes being so different. I have ordered an 8.5D so we will see if this one will fit.
This is the second pair of Skechers I bought recently. My Go Walk 4's are so comfortable, I decided to try these. They have the same memory foam inner sole and walking in them is like walking on wet sand. The support is there, but it's not stiff at all. These are marked "relaxed fit, " and they are wider than my other shoes.
