The overall quality of the material seems to be of good quality and the workmanship is well done. However, it does have a couple of issue that disqualifies it from being a 5-star rating. The first issue is the automatic shutoff. It works but one has to pay attention to it as it sometimes fails to shutoff the iPad. The cause is the retaining strap that secures the iPad in place. When it is folder over and tucked under the iPad and attached to the mating Velcro fastener it sticks up too high and prevents the front cover from properly seating when closing and thus not activating the shutoff function. One can over come this by angling the front cover to a 45 degree angle and pulling it out ward and swinging it down towards the iPad. This works but it's a pain. Another issue is this cover really needs some kind of elastic strap or tie-down strap to keep the cover firmly closed. Just a slight lifting of the cover turns the iPad on and one may not even notice it.I was kind of surprised that it came with a combo ball point pen and stylus. Unfortunately it kept in a elastic loop holder on the outside edge of the bottom cover and seems to get in the way. I imagine that eventually it will get torn or worn off. I've seen other reviews where there have been complaints about the edges of the material that holds the corners of iPad cracking and breaking. The cover I received ha s a rubberized plastic frame (TPU?) that seems rugged enough to withstand normal wear and tear. In another words, install the iPad and leave alone.

The case works ok. I'm not certain how well it'll protect the iPad from drops, but it seems like all the folio cases now follow similar designs. The one annoying "feature" that I just can't get past is how the cover folds when you want to use the iPad in portrait mode. For some reason that I've always found baffling, they decided that the cover needs to fold "under" the iPad such that the "inside" of the cover is now on the outside. So, if I'm using he iPad in portrait mode and set it down, what is the inner side of the cover is now in contact with whatever debris may be sitting on the table. When I close the cover, this debris is now potentially being ground into the iPad screen. The old Cygnett folio cases (iPad 2/3) were far superior. They had extended edges to cushion the iPad from drops and impacts, and the cover folding design actually made sense. Too bad they dropped that design.I guess my search continues for an intelligently designed folio cover.

We just replaced older iPads with the 9.7" 6th generation iPad. We shopped military exchanges, Fry's, WalMart, and several other stores. Not difficult to find iPad covers at $45 or more that were well made and attractive nor ones sturdy enough to drop off a building. BUT at this price point or even for twice as much we couldn't find a cover as attractive, secure or well made. We even temporarily bought another cover (not thru Amazon) for around the same price - looked pretty good, but it wouldn't even hold our iPads securely and I had to remove the iPad from the case to adjust the volume. That one's going backThe ProCase - What we Like -We bought the Brown - it does a good job of looking like real leather although it's not. The images on Amazon are very accurate. The stitching - even and attractiveThe fit - it's extremely secure and fits well. There's a foam insert that holds the case's shape during shipping. A 4" long tab wraps around the left side of the pocket. Open it to insert the iPad; slip the iPad in (it's a nice tight fit), then fold it under and it secures with velcro. The ipad aligns evenly in the pocket. The cutouts - they are generous in size making the fitting of headphones and charging cables easy. The on/off switch and volume controls are easy to use. The lens opening for the camera is nicely sized. And all cutouts and edges are very smooth. The stand - there are 3 leather-like strips on the cover that easily support the iPad in landscape mode. The pen/pencil loop and pen - it includes a thin pen - ballpoint on one end & a foam stylus tip on the other end.The outside pocket - the cover has a pocket that could hold a few pieces of paper although I probably won't use it so that I don't risk stretching the cover. The only thing I don't like is that I didn't find this cover earlier.

When I bought this case it had over 2,700 reviews with a 4.8 star rating. People are merciless when they rate products on Amazon, so I knew it had to be good. I was not disappointed. I paid $19.99 for a product that looks like it's worth 10x that. I got the black case with the tan liner, and it is a premium product that complements my new 2018 9.7" iPad perfectly. Installation was so easy, even a caveman can do it. The iPad slides into the case and is held in place with a captured velcro tab, so 1. There's no possibility of the iPad accidentally falling out, and 2. You're not snapping the iPad into a plastic carrier that may crack and break at the corners during installation. Stitching, materials, and workmanship are superlative throughout, down to the smallest detail. The smart cover on/off feature works flawlessly, and the magnet holds the cover in place without a tacky elastic band. The case comes with a small elastic loop for your Apple Pen, which is filled with a complimentary black and gold ink pen with the ProCase logo, a nice touch. It fits the new iPad perfectly, all cutouts align properly, and it doesn't add unnecessary bulk. The three stand-up angles are great for laptop viewing, desk work, or even counter-top viewing. If you're a stickler for premium details like I am, here's my recommendation - Buy. This. Case. I spent two weeks analyzing every case Amazon sells for the new iPad. Are there nicer premium iPad cases out there? Maybe. Are there nicer cases at this price point? Absolutely not.

I am not a fan of this case. Adds too much weight, or what FEELS like too much weight and bulk to my iPad. I don’t know about you but for me I don’t want to buy a thin sleek piece of technology like an iPad 6th gen and then bulk it up with a cover. I can see how others love the cover as it IS durable, protective, and functional, but for me I wish to maintain the modern sleek styling of my iPad and this certainly does not do that.I bought the ESR in twilight color and it’s PHENOMENAL. For those of you who like me wish to maintain all of the above that I spoke of but still have protection, read my review for the ESR.

What an awesome case! It is attractive, sturdy, well-constructed, and it has the following things that I needed in an iPad Air 2 case:1) It is designed to allow for an easy swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the control panel in iOS 11 while holding the screen horizontally, even while covering and protecting the bezel. Take a look at the pictures on Amazon and you’ll see the intelligent way this cover is cut to allow for a lower edge right where you’ll be swiping up. I haven’t seen this in other iPad cases. The case it replaces didn’t have this, which was really irritating.2) It is easy to grip and won’t slip from my hand.3) It is lightweight. I had just purchased another cover which, although quite slim and not adding to the iPad Air 2’s bulk, added significantly to its weight. It turned the iPad Air 2 into an iPad Heavy, and was like picking up a thin but heavy brick all the time. Not so with this case.4) It gives great protection to every part of the iPad while allowing easy access to all the controls. And it’s not too bulky. Oh, and did I mention that it doesn’t make the iPad Air 2 seem heavier? Great protection without adding bulk or weight—what a great idea!5) It has a nice pocket on the outside front cover to store a paper note.6) It has a stylus holder. And the stylus it comes with works very well, and serves as a regular pen, too!7) It fits the iPad Air 2 perfectly. For all that this case offers, the price was very reasonable. It is so well-constructed that I expect this case to outlast my iPad.

I bought this case based on overall customer reviews. Yes the case is made of good quality leather and I do like the three position stand for for landscape viewing. It makes the iPad look rich and professional. Now for the not so good news. The folded side of the case has no corner protection. The case slipped out of my hand when I was getting into my car. It fell from a height of about 2 feet on the folded side of the case. The leather split on the fold and dented and scratched the left side of my brand new iPad that my wife got me for Christmas. The iPad itself and glass was not damaged. Also I would have preffered not to have the pen and loop that held it in place not included. I didn't really need it and at times got in the way.1/5/18 UpdateI contacted Tech Vendor to tell them about how the case had damaged with hopes that future models of this item would have better protection on the corners. They got right back to me and said they would pass my email along to their design department to see if they can improve upon it, Best of all they offered to refund me the entire cost of the item! However I liked the overall look, feel and professional look that it had that I asked if they would simply replace the damaged case with the same one which they were more than happy to do. I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 because of their excellent customer service and the overall quality of this case.

This is first and foremost this is, “an IPad case Protector.” It covers corners as well as top an bottom of an IPad. That’s the good news. It also is versatile and easy to use. It even has a sleeve on the top side that will hold a few notes or cards you may need or use often. Yes this is a well made and useful device for your new IPad. If you really enjoy the size and the weight of your new IPad, it won’t be the same once you put it in this protector case. I don’t mind the extra bulk, it doubles the thickness of an IPad. I recommend buying it because of the quality, looks, and that it Protects my IPad. Just be aware, that once installed, it will make your IPad larger and bulkier than it is in it’s original out of the box state.

I bought this instead of the other basic style because of the way it can be propped up. The description said it goes off automatically when you close the cover. I preferred the colored ones to the black one but the description for the colored ones said there was a pocket on it and didn't say it goes off automatically. That was a more important feature than the color or the pocket. I discovered the black one does have a pocket, and they are probably all identical but the descriptions are different. So I'm disappointed not to have bought the blue one.I realized it was likely that this case was heavy, but since I didn't plan to carry it around much (I use it instead of a TV set, which is why the easel feature was important) that was okay. It is very heavy and bulky if you plan to carry it. The easel works very well when it's horizontal, and the case also stands up well when it's vertical. The access to the controls is excellent, and the case seems to be very well made and far more reasonably priced than anything you would find in an Apple store.

Absolutely LOVE the cover. It is very sturdy. It comes with a stylus and the magnet is also powerful. Best of all, it is vegan.

Looked at a number of covers for my new (2017) iPad and this was the winner. It fits very snugly, is easy to apply and provides great protection for the iPad. It also a better job of providing a stable and comfortable position when using the iPad. After using this for a couple of months, I am very pleased with my choice and highly recommend for anyone in the market for a safe and functional case.

I am most satisfied with the pad case, I honestly feel it is the best one I have had. It is sturdy, stays put when being used, and protects my new iPad. I would recommend it to anyone for this size pad. Now, will Apple come up with the same unit for the mini pads?

very nice iPad case - it fits like a glove and seems like high quality manufacture - very good product for the price. Went one week without an iPad case before this one arrived today and I like the case on my iPad better than using the iPad without a case.Would highly recommend

You can't really tell from the photo whether this case is cheap-feeling or good quality, so I consciously took a gamble on this purchase because I liked the colors and features--and I love it! The whole thing is made of good, solid materials that are perfectly assembled to fit and to last. The stand feature works exactly as advertised, too, which is one of the best qualities of this. All of the holes and trim line up with laser precision around the camera, body, and buttons, and the padding is just balanced between protective and reasonably light weight. This is not the lightest case possible--probably not ideal for carrying in a bag all the time--but I use my iPad at home most of the time, so that's not a problem for me.UPDATE: After about a year of daily use around the house and our baby, this thing still looks almost new. If I ever get a second (or different) tablet, I’m definitely looking into whoever made this case for my next one.

To be honest, my expectations for a $16 iPad case weren't very high even tho it looked very nice as I was shopping. When it arrived I was really blown away. It is very nicely made, the features are as intuitive as an iPad and I simply love it! It very securely keeps my iPad in place with discrete tab that wraps around the left side and sticks this tab to a piece of Velcro. iPads aren't cheap and having it accidentally slip out of the case and crashing on the floor would be my nightmare! The red color isn't quite as vivid as shown, but the more I look at it, the tone is appropriate. I might even order a blue one just for a change now and then! The only thing contrary to a perfect purchase is a little typo in the thank you note from Tech Vendor: the instructions for writing a review, item 2, "click on your acount"...account is misspelled. Easy enough to fix! Anyone looking for a very professional, reasonably priced iPad case, this baby is just for you. You won't be sorry. Unless, of course, you'd prefer to pay $50-70 for an Apple case.

Nice case that fits newest iPad perfectly. All holes are prefect for cameras and buttons. Two speakers are completely uncovered. Long time Apple person, and this case is best bang for the buck I've seen. Glad I bought it and highly recommend it.
