Seems sturdy, will test later. Color is NOT the OD green in the photo, it is a lime green. So don’t purchase this to match an OD green kayak like I did. I would have rather gone with orange or red if it’s going to not match in color.I appreciate that it’s made in the US!***UPDATE***Took it out to use it. It feels like you’re kayaking while your anchor is dragging along the bottom. The front end digs down into the water and creates insane drag. I ended up just putting it on the back of my kayak so I could make any progress at all. Note: I was using the $13.99, sold separately, CreekKooler tow strap designed specifically for this by the same company.Capacity: the description says 15 standard 12oz cans AND 10lbs of ice. After playing Tetris for quite a while, the most I got in there was 7 cans and 6lbs of ice before it was topped off. Not nearly the capacity advertised.

I took the CreekKooler out this last weekend. It was windy and a busy day on the lake with lots of waves and chop. I thought for sure the cooler would flip due to the rough water. It didn't. We had it loaded with beer, couple bottles of water and some sandwiches. Perfect for two people and a day of kayaking. It was only around 80 degrees, so I wasn't able to fully test how well it will hold up in hot weather. Had several questions and everyone loved the little pirate flag. Highly Recommend!

We purchased for a free dive spear fishing float. It was a great addition to our gear! We shore dive in the Caribbean, the bigger cooler would have been nice, for large lobster and conch, but we needed something we could fit in a suit case.Pros:1. Easy to see from a distance.2. Keeps fish and blood out of the water. Blood washes off, sharks have little interest in it.3. Very easy to tow.4. Lion fish, sharp coral, and lobster spines will not damage cooler.Cons:For my purposes the cons were very minor.1. When empty It tends to flip over in 1-2 foot wave chop. This could be due to the top heavy lid, and possibly the tow point connection being to high on the deck for diving. The high tow point should be fine if towing from a small paddle boat. It seemed more stable with ballast, in it.2. If the lid is not locked tight (1/8 turn) it can come off during upside-down use. This was completely user error and only happened once the first time out before we had any fish in it. Once the seal was wet it was easier to turn to a fully locked position.

My PUP arrived exactly as described! Matched my kayak perfect in color. First time use was on the inter-coastal and it took a beating but held up and kept all our drinks cold! Absolutely what I needed!

We love to kayak on the lake where we live. Usually we have a drink cup in the kayak itself but this little mini kayak is a true copy of our lifesize one. It looks real cool to tow it behind us. Can be used for tubing as well. Lots of storage space inside for cans. Love it!
