This Coleman cooler can be loaded with up to 30 cans and offers plenty of space for a family lunch or soccer game snacks. The easy-clean interior of this flexible ice chest has an antimicrobial lining to resist formation of mold, mildew, fungus, and odors. This lunch bag is just right for me. I've had it for almost 6 months now, and no problems with the zippers, or seams coming apart. I use it 5 days out of the week, and it carries my lunch and snacks for the day, with room left over. The hard liner is easy to clean and hasn't broken yet. I've seen some reviews of it breaking after only a short time, but honestly I don't see how unless you're dropping it or throwing in your car/truck, etc. As far as the insulating properties, it's not meant to keep things ice cold for a real long time (especially in the hot Texas weather). So if you're outdoors for more than a few hours you might need to upgrade to something more suitable. I work in an office, and this works fine keeping my lunches and snacks chilled until needed. The extra zipper pocket in the front is great for holding a man's wallet, earbuds, keys, with some room left over. The side mesh pockets aren't big enough for more than some napkins or I use mine for my badge/lanyard for work. I hope this review helps people make an informed decision regarding this purchase. As for me, I love it - it suits my needs perfectly. :)

Just what I wanted for a cross country road trip. I can't attest to the 30 can claim ?, but I packed four large ice packs and a variation of 4 - 16 oz.water bottles, 4 - 20 oz. Gatorade bottles, 1 - 750 ml wine bottle, yogurt containers and various small storage containers for snacks. When the hotel fridge had no freezer for my ice packs, I filled the plastic container with ice. A few of the cubes escaped from the hard sided bin and settled into the bottom of the soft sided bag resulting in no leaks. Well insulated, will keep items cold after six hours on the road. Size of bag is perfect (12.2 in.(L) x 9.65 in.(W) x 13.78 in.(H), because even when fully stocked one person can carry it. Great purchase.

I had the smaller version of this one for my lunch that I take to work everyday. It held up well but one of the zippers broke and the fabric started tearing on a corner of the lid. Probably due to me putting some 30 ounce insulated cups in there and it made it pretty tight to close. That won't be an issue with this, it is bigger and the extra space is just what I needed. I've taken a couple pictures to give you an idea of it's interior space and it's height. The 3 items inside the hard liner are a half gallon of milk, a 2 liter, and 1 gallon of tea for reference.

I just started using these coolers a few weeks ago. I bought a small one, and liked it enough that I then bought the larger size.A few tips:1. You (of course) need to freeze them before using them. At least one of the negative reviews indicated that the author had expected the product to keep drinks cool without being frozen first. I just keep mine in the freezer whenever it's not in use, and stuff some ice packs inside, so it'll be ready to use when I need it.2. They work best when used with ice packs or or icy wraps you can wrap around the food.3. I've tested mine using big bottles of vegetable juice and raw milk (which I really really need to keep refrigerated, to keep it safe). Both stayed cold all day. Due partly to the Cooler's built in ice packs, and partly to being packed in ice, they were even colder when I drank them then when I packed them twelve hours earlier.WHAT I DON'T LIKE:This isn't a complaint about the product, but a regret of sorts. The one I bought is big and a little bulky, and is hard to fit into my the side door freezer of my refrigerator. I bought the 30 can size; if I'd realized how large it would be, I'd have bought the next size smaller, which would have also worked for my needs.

I brought this cooler so I could have cold drinks waiting for me after I complete longer hikes or runs, so I load it up with ice, drinks and other things, and leave it in the trunk of my car. I think the longest I have taken it out it is about 6 hours or so. There is a bucket basically which comes inside the cooler, which has handles and that you can easily lift in and out of the cooler. The cooler itself looks to be made of good quality materials and the side handles work pretty well. Now for the cooling itself, if I have it half filled with ice and then also place 3-4 drinks in there and leave it in the California heat (about 70 degrees to 90 degrees) for 6 hours, I would say about 1/4 or so of the ice melts. I'm not sure how that matches up with other coolers in the market, but it works for me since I only use it for day use. I do like that it's very tall, and so it fix komchuba or larger beer bottles easily.

If there was 3.5 stars, I would give it (it is between "its OK" and "I like it!"). It is the right size and basically comfortable to carry (given the cost, I didn't expect a shoulder strap with better padding materials) which I liked. The negative was that the ice melted slightly faster than I expected. I was suffering "Cooler Envy" because when camping with a friend, his cooler's ice stayed frozen about 6 hours longer than mine (although this might be from a number of factors, like his ice started off colder, how much he had packed into his cooler or how often the lid was unzippered to remove items).

This cooler is big. As a lunchbox it's HUGE.I ordered it to use as a family lunchbox, for myself and three kids. We are always off on homeschooling adventures in need of snacks, lunches, drinks, and more snacks. I honestly considered returning this as it was much bigger than my old box. However after one use, its my new favorite. I was able to fit our snacks including all FOUR of our hydro flasks, and the strap is strong enough for the heavy weight. The best aspect is the hard plastic insert, giving structure and easy cleaning. My old box also had this feature and it was a must for the replacement. This is a winner for us.

I loved the cooler when we first got it. I thought it was a great price for the size and I loved the green color for my husband. Unfortunately we have had it for less than four months and it has already broken about a month ago. The inner hard shell has a huge crack in the bottom. I would not recommend this cooler, look around for a more dependable one!

This cooler is nice and compact and insulates well. In 100 degree shaded Texas heat the cooler kept our ice from completely melting in an 8 hour day. I only filled the cooler half-way from the ice maker in our freezer, so keeping the ice that long is pretty good. There are handy pockets for keeping misc. things. I really love the pocket in the lid of the cooler. It's perfect for keeping a sandwich chilled without soaking the bread in the ice water. I've wasted more than one lunch when this has happened. Overall, for the price, quality and little extras, this is a solid purchase.

I would classify this as a great durable lunch bag more than a cooler. The cooler is great for short trips or to keep your lunch cold while at work. However I did not have great luck using it for a recent 9hour car trip. Items did stay cool but most of my ice was melted after 9 hours in an air conditioned car. 5 or 6 hour car rides the cooler works great. I now use the cooler for a lunch bag for work as it holds my 3 to 4 bottles of water and my lunch and keep everything nice and cold. This is a great product, well made and heavy duty, I would give it 5 stars if the bag was a little larger and also kept food cold for longer trips. My prior Coleman cooler lasted 15 years old kept things cold much longer. But don't shy away from this product it is still a great cooler that is light weight but durable and does the job.

I purchased this in lieu of a Yeti Hopper Flip 12. Research brought me to this cooler bag because of the size and price. I needed something bigger than a standard lunch bag, yet not ridiculously large. The Coleman 30 Can Cooler is a generously sized cooler that I use for shorter hiking trips and all road trips. This is a nice "front passenger" cooler to have on those long drives in the sun. Throw in some water, gatorade, and ice packs in the main compartment, and in the front pocket, throw in some napkins and beef jerky. Easy to unzip and reach inside as the lid flips back when fully unzipped. Even in warmer weather, if I leave this in the car for a few hours, it'll keep everything nice and cold. However, I don't expect this to outperform some of my other coolers in terms of temperature, and that's fine.Definitely a nice bang for the buck. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with Coleman, and this was definitely a hit. Nice color, durable material, and the nice addition of a bin to keep the structure of the cooler. This'll perfectly fit a Yeti Ice (4 lb).

So this is bigger than I need but at the same time its not. I use it for my lunch and because I am on the road all day its nice to have in the car. I can load it up with drinks, whatever im having for lunch and snacks and with the right cooling (right now im using Cooler Shock ice packs) it keeps my stuff cold all day. I like the hard liner because I am tired of trying to clean the soft liner of my previous bag. Now if i were in an office this might be too big but I would still appreciate that I can get several bottles of water in there and my lunch and not have to worry about keeping my stuff in the office fridge

I love these coolers. I'm on my third one. I have a blue one that is ten years old a green one that is two years old and now this red one. I lost my green one at a superbowl party and the ten year old blue one still works great, has nothing broken but its just dirty. I use these mostly on the back of my tractor while mowing so they get used a lot. I just wrap the shoulder strap over the seat and I'm good to go. It amazes me that the strap has never broken off after so many years. The hard liner is what sold me on this cooler in the first place. I didn't want a hard cooler scratching my tractor up and sliding around, and soft coolers with no liner constantly leak everywhere. This cooler is the best of both worlds.

Got this for my husbands "lunch" snack bag. It is big enough that he is able to pack up a few large waters and drinks and a morning snack, lunch and another snack for the afternoon...He works where there are no places to stop in and grab items like drinks and little snacks so this it perfect. He likes having the pockets and the elastic on top. He puts keys and his phone in this also...He doesn't go without this! This is the second time we have purchase a Coleman bag of this type, the first on was smaller. He used it for a few years until the zipper finally broke. He has tried other brands but didn't like them.*FYI if you every see a review that says they received an item FREE in exchange for a review DO NOT TRUST IT! These people are asked to LIE. I know because I use to receive these items and they told me point blank never to post bad reviews. I asked to be remove from the program. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE ITEMS. I BOUGHT THIS.

We purchased this cooler for my husband to take 3rd shift, driving a tractor-trailer. He needs to have several beverages (plus, he likes to take his own creamer with him) to save on stops - as well as healthy, homemade lunch items. This Coleman cooler is the tops. We've gone thru several in the past few years and none can hold a candle to this baby. It holds TONS of stuff and the plastic liner pops out for easy cleaning (nice when his creamer lid leaks and everything gets sticky). The front pocket holds his phone, wallet, charger cord, keys, cough drops, and more. It has the two side handles, which seem strong, and the shoulder strap which he uses daily and shows no signs of fraying or breakage despite constant, heavy loads.

This cooler is working great so far. I bought it to strap on the back of my KLR 650. I was able to successfully tie it down with a couple bungees through the handles. The zippers work perfectly (smooth with no snags, even with the the handles being pulled down by the straps). Good Space inside and fits well on my bike. The plastic bucket keeps the form of the cooler even while strapped down by the handles. I would recommend this to others.
