I have been an apple lover all my life. Was one of the people who ordered the original apple watch within minutes of being able to purchase it online. I loved it! except the battery life SUCKED from the start. I got used to having to charge it nightly and even mid-day if I recorded any kind of work out. No more! this watch lasts days, even if I've recorded a 3 hour run on it. Love it! Plus the larger watch face makes it so much easier to read and use.

Unable to pair watch with my phone after multiple attempts. I rebooted both, my phone is on the most recent update but the watch does need update. Reset settings and still did not work. Went to Apple store and was told it was the watch itself that is not working properly and would have to get shipped to IT for eval and could take a couple of days.

I went from a Garmin to this. So far I like it it doesn’t have as many useful activity features as Garmin. Battery life is meh at best. I can only go all day with one charge but have to charge every night. I use it pretty moderately. Over all I’m pretty pleased I need some more time with it to decide how much I truly like it. It is exactly what I ordered and came in an unopened Apple box.

I absolutely love this Watch. After wearing all day, the battery has only drained to mid 70’s with normal use. There have been many times while I’m working that my co-worker and I are in different locations and I need to be able to talk to him but have both hands free and the watch has made that easy. While talking on the phone the sound is clear and volume is great and he has no problems hearing me. I keep my phone in my pocket and when I get a text I can see right from my wrist who’s texting and even see the msg without having to touch the watch. I just look at my watch when I get a msg and the msg opens. That way I know if it’s something important or not. You can customize what you want to see on the watch face. I love the activity tracker. It helps me be more active. It’s always a good feeling when you close your rings during a day. I work outside and I can also check the weather right from my watch. Having the Bluetooth on all day on my iPhone doesn’t kill my iPhone battery like I thought it would. Overall it’s a great Watch and I love it. It was a good investment. I highly recommend buying an Apple Watch.

I had the first Apple Watch generation, I had that one since it was released years ago, but when I tried this new Apple watch 4 I got really amazed with the battery life and performance!I would still have 65% of battery life at bed time with this one compared to 0% on my old watch. Also the speed is pretty amazing as well. One of the best features is the walkie-talkie, that’s pretty useful with friends who have apple watch 3 or 4.

I purchased this to use while swimming and because of all the features. But, it also may have saved my life.Shortly after getting it and wearing it all the time I was alerted of an Afib situation and am now under a doctors care for Afib. Had I continued with a different sport watch I might have not known that I was having Afib and could have experienced a stroke or heart attack. But by being alerted to the situation I am now on medication and under a doctors care. Thank goodness I bought and learned to use this fantastic Apple Watch series 4.The cardiologist was fascinated with the proficiency of the watches heart programs.

I purchased this watch in part to track my swimming workouts. On my first lap swim with the watch it did a great job counting laps for about 25 minutes. At the 25 min mark I looked at it and it was showing the Apple logo. I finished the last 5 min of swimming got out of the pool and noticed I had no control of the watch. After drying off, the watch shut down. On my drive home I suddenly noticed the watch getting very hot. I took it off immediately. After that there were no more signs of life from it. I returned the watch to Amazon and received a replacement in less than 24 hours. I hope I just got one with a defect. I’ll give the Apple Watch 1 more chance.

Im already in the Apple eco system with MacBooks, Mac minis, iPads, iPhones, etc... My friends had Apple Watches, but I've never had a watch, and didn't really like the idea of wearing a watch or any "jewelry" for that matter. However I work out a lot, and am also a pilot. So I finally gave in and bought this one.I'll be honest, I wear it every freaking day now and I'm hooked. 44mm fits perfectly and its great for tracking work outs and am already in competitions with all of my friends. Additionally it was a nice asset in the cockpit, with creating a watch face that does sunset and sunrise times along with UTC and Local times. Connect nicely with Bose BT ear buds as well. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

I bought my first Apple Watch in May 2018 and had no intention of upgrading to a Series 4 so soon afterwards. The Fall and ECG features of latest watch changed my mind and I am so glad I purchased the Series 4. What I love most about the watch is that it offers a sense of security if you live alone as I do. No matter what the circumstances, you always have help and a connection to the outside world. I could not be without this wonderful device and when the Series 5 is released, I'm upgrading to that one too!

Everything but the battery life on this watch is great! It has been easy to figure out for a variety of uses. I love the activity goals and challenges. The only complaint I have is the battery life (charging once a day), but that was not unexpected after researching before purchase. Just because it was expected doesn't mean it's not something that needs improving though.

Mainly purchased for the fall detection capabilities, sleep tracking apps, long battery life, and it’s designed to connect to an iPhone. I am not a big Apple fan, but they did a pretty decent job with this watch.Pros:1) Beautiful design.2) Decent UI.3) Battery life is a LOT better than my last smartwatch. I charge it every other day.4) Useful features (useful to me, at least).5) Watch apps tie into their corresponding iPhone apps.Cons:1) Not water resistant2) Case is easy to scratch and ding up3) Lack of customization; compared to Android Wear offerings.4) Lack of decent protective cases. I have tried quite a few (at least 10) and they either don’t fit correctly, fall off, tear or crack the first time your watch hits or drags against a wall, prevent screen interaction in some areas, prevent use of the side button (unless you push REALLY hard), make it difficult to operate the crown, or prevent the use of different watch bands.5) The Apple Watch bands are EXPENSIVE! I didn’t like the cheapest Apple bands, they want too much money for a strip of Velcro and 2 metal loops that connect it to the watch.5) 3rd party watch bands are hit and miss (mostly miss). I ordered a few I liked; only one stayed in place, stayed clipped on, and did not lock the watch when I would bump my arm into something.6) Apple approved accessories are EXPENSIVE!7) Non Apple approved accessories can damage the watch.8) There arent very many Apple approved accessories. No Apple approved protective cases as of this review (the 3rd party cases are mostly garbage; the rest are passable at best). So, if you have money to burn, want a pretty watch that does all kinds of interesting stuff, don’t care about customizing your watch face that much, are very careful with your watch, willing to spend a lot of money for Apple approved accessories, and want something that just works with your iPhone....This is the watch for you!In my case I needed a smart watch with fall detection, sleep monitor, and a heart rate monitor that would call someone if I fell and did not get up or move within a certain timeframe. I also wanted something I could use as an extension of my iPhone, so I didn’t have to carry it around my house with me.

I’ve had every generation of Apple Watch and this is the first one that I’ve worn and wanted to wear every single day since purchase. Aesthetically, this is the best version of the watch to date. Then last generations looked pretty dorky but they’re use outweighed the diesgin. This time around Apple has not only upped the anti in the design department by making a truly good looking watch, but have added in even more features and functionality. Even compared to some of the other “smart” watch brands, well there really is no comparison. Apple made a winner.

The added 2mm larger size vs Series 3 just looks better, crown and function button feel a bit better put together. the heart monitor does indeed function more accurately vs Series 3. Rubber strap is nice, stays on securely and not uncomfortable- but is a bit bland looking compared to the Nike+ black sport band. However that is an easy change with any of the nice aftermarket bands available. Purchased from Amazon directly, prompt shipping and safely packed in an oversized mailing box.

I'm just now coming from the 1st series apple watch to the 4th and WOW what a difference!Everything from replying to messages (even messenger replies which wasn’t a possibility in the past) is smooth, fast, and responsive. Customizing has gotten a much better and setting up multiple watch faces is fun!My main uses for this is an alarm to wake me up in the mornings, keeping track of my sleeping patterns (AutoSleep app is phenomenal), Apple Music/Watch/AirPod functionality (it all works so seamless together I freaking love it)I know Apple is expensive, but no company's product will ever work quite like theirs do and SO EASILY might I add. I’m blown away from my lack of buyers remorse (felt that heavily after the s1 purchase, but not with this series) as a person who is slowly easing my way into all things Apple from the simplicity aspect on how their products work.Worth the buy people! I recommend the “rocker” leather strap watch bands as well- they’re extremely stylish and I get compliments every time I wear it out!

Easy to set up. Box is huge lol it's a must that you read up on how to preserve the battery life before you begin using it for exercise and such. I have had to reset it one bc my dictation speech to txt/message wasn't working. I think Apple could have done a better job on the battery life. My Fitbits that I have had that I could receive txts on and control my music and shows steps, HR and such coils go for 3-4 days after a few years old with working out for 2 hours everyday. Other than that, it's a nice smartwatch. I didn't get the cellular bc I always have my phone within 30 feet of me for the most part. Haven't used maps on it yet. Speaker is decently loud.

I had a fitbit that cost a fraction of what this cost. It was much better at tracking activity and exercise. You can walk for 20 minutes and it will show you walked for 2 minutes. If you climb 20 flights of stairs over the course of a day it may say you did 3 flights. Support, so far, is no help. This app is so frustrating that it may actually make you say to hell with it and exercise less. It's a shame because the watch does have some other very useful functions. From my past experience with Apple it seems odd that they would put out something so poorly designed.Update: the crystal is now broken. It is extremely fragile. I can’t tell you how much I regret buying this watch. They want $299 to fix a $400 watch. Save yourself aggravation and money and do not buy this poorly designed product.

I went from a series 3 38mm so getting the 44mm was a massive size difference for me. The screen is so much bigger and it can fit so much more on it than before. I no longer have to continuously scroll just to read a few sentences. The battery life last about 2 1/2 days but takes awhile to recharge. The only thing that dissatisfied me was the box it was placed in. The box was too large and it kept sliding around and shaking in the box. It did have air bubble things inside but the watch box fell to the bottom making the air cushions ineffective. The box that it was shipped in was way too large and when I took the watch box out the plastic seal was brown and dirty and scuffed up. Once the plastic was removed it look great but still poor boxing.

So I definitely ordered the Apple Watch 4 "Space Gray Aluminium Case with Black Sport Band". When I opened the box, however, in it was the "Silver Aluminum Case with Seashell Sport Loop". I thought about sending it back but I actually do like the look of it (my wife approved) and I did not feel like doing a return. The watch itself is 5 stars but Amazon gets 3 stars for not sending the correct item. I bought my 1st Gen Apple Watch a few years ago, got the Apple Watch 2 a year after than and now I'm on the 4. I love the watch for running, exercising and just everyday use.

much much faster than my old series 2, it is worth upgrading if you find the speed is an issue for you.ECG feature is just a selling point, not good for practical use. if that can be embedded on the backside of the watch and monitor periodically, that will be much better. and also this one point finger test is questionable for its accuracy.

I’ve been wanting to get an Apple Watch for the longest time and I finally went ahead and made the purchase. Did a little research and comparisons on series 3 vs series 4, and decided to go with the series 4 40mm. I’m really satisfied with its performance. Love the different faces options and customizations.I listen to Apple Music all day at work and with this watch I’m able to play music right from my wrist. I can add whatever playlists I want to my watch and go. I get notifications right on my watch while my phone is locked and in my pocket so I can check them straight from my wrists. Even take phone calls as well without having to grab my phone. There’s so much more this watch does. It’s a great motivational tool as well. If you’re considering purchasing one, go for it. I’ve already bought a protective clear silicone like case for it for extra protection and in the market for more bands to change the look every now and then. Overall, I’m satisfied with this purchase.

As someone who has used several fitness watches, I am truly impressed with this Apple Watch Series 4. I purchased the 44mm GPS version, mainly because I intend to use it for fitness and health. So far I have only worn it for the past few day and have come across two things that may interest first time Apple Watch buyers like myself:First is weight, for such a small watch it does have some weight to it. If you are used to using a Fitbit, you will noticed the weight difference.Secondly, the Band. I am a Big guy with thick wrists. I normally always chose the biggest band because of it. The watch comes with both a small to medium band and the medium to large band. I am currently using the medium to large and at times feels a little too small (or should I say "tight"). I have been going back and forth between the second to last hole and the last hole. I have ordered some new bands, hoping that it will make a difference. Other than that the bands feel good and solid. I wasn't too sure about the clasp at first but I have to say that it has impressed me. It is easy to put on and holds pretty good, but what do you expect, it's an Apple product.Other than that, I am impressed with the over-all feel of the watch. Shipping was fast as expected.Would I recommend this watch? Yes, Yes I would.

Great watch espically if you’re a fitness person. Who knew you’d one day be able to make a phone call on your watch, this is the coolest product I’ve ever owned! The waterproof feature comes in handy when you forget to take it off in the shower, the fitness feature really reminded me to get up and do something. I love this watch and think anyone who bought this would!
